Lead Times
We ask for 3 months notice when ordering wedding and civil ceremony cakes, and 1 month for other celebrations, however, depending on our schedule, we may be able to accept orders at short notice.
Payment Terms
To confirm an order, a non-refundable 25% deposit is required. The balance is due 28 days before delivery or collection for wedding orders, and 1 week before all other orders.
Cake Design Alterations
Design alterations can be made up to but no later than 1 month before for wedding or civil ceremony cakes and 1 week before all other celebrations. If the alteration affects the cost, then your balance will be adjusted accordingly.
Collection / Delivery
Delivery within 5 miles of our base in Torquay is FREE. Delivery charges for other destinations are available upon request. All cakes can be collected from our base at The Cat’s Whiskers, Upton Road, Torquay. If the cake is collected, we will not be liable for any damage to the cake once it has left our premises
Stand Hire
Wedding / Celebration cake stands can be hired fro £20 plus a £100 cheque deposit. This is held in your file until the stand is returned to us in the condition it was supplied. Stands must be returned within 3 working days.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your wedding cake order for any reason up to 21 days before your wedding date, the deposit is non-refundable. All other monies paid will be refunded within 14 business days. If your wedding cake order is cancelled less than 21 days from the wedding date, you will receive a refund of 25% of the total cost.
